For over 29yrs, I have been professionally working with animals (Veterinary Field, Wildlife Rescue, Exotic Conservation and Animal Shelter). I have spent a lot of time around horses, competing in both English and Western events.

I have combined animal handling skills with my photography skills since 2006 and have attended multiple in-person classes on pet photography, from the likes of Seth Casteel, Jamie Piper, David Veit and Shelter-Me Photography. Currently, I am a member of multiple online Pet Photography Communities that provide resources for Pet Photographers around the world. 

 I was a member of South County Photo Club for approximately 12yrs and since moving back home to Canada, I am a current member of Chilliwack Camera Club, Abbotsford Photo Arts Club and Canadian Association for Photographic Art.

Event Photography is another genre that I love to shoot.  Attending Horse Shows, Dog Shows, Cat Shows, Wildlife Releases and Pet Parties are so much fun!  I typically create a gallery for the event and send the event organizer a link, so they can share to the event-goers.
